COLOR...COLOR...COLOR

That is what emerging abstract artist Lauren Hunt says her work is all about.  “I mix a color that has inspired me, and so begins my creative process.  The shapes, textures, design and palette are all a result of that initial color choice.  It’s that simple.”

Lauren works mostly in acrylics, but has recently fallen in love with encaustic mono-printing and collages prints into her paintings.

A former textile designer, she worked 15 years in the home furnishings industry and then worked in the interior design business, managing custom projects.

Lauren lives in Norwalk, Connecticut.  She is currently semi-retired, working for the Public School System with children who are learning English.  With summers off, she paints, gardens and gets to the ocean as much as possible.
